i have a 00 gt that shows misfire on cyl #6, its due a tune up and was wondering what are some of the better aftermarket replacements, don't need the high dollar ones just good solid stock replacements, but maybe better than fms stockers
thanx for any and all input

Did you pull #6 plug wire off the spark plug? May have coolant or water down the hole causeing your missfire

boots on the COP's will develop pin holes and allow the COP to arc across to the head. Inspect the boot VERY closely for them. It's much cheaper than a COP.
On aftermarket COP's tuners have told me repeatedly that the stock COP's on the 2v and 3v engines are quite good even under pretty heavy mods. I chose to not listen on my 05 and wasted $349.00 on a set that gained me nothing but looks. The car was dyno'd at 507 RWHP. I should have listened.
And before you start wondering, I understand that the COP's for the 3V and 2V are different part numbers. Don't know if it is boot only or if its a change in coil resistance as well. Otherwise I would offer you mine for testing purposes. Sorry.
Last try swapping 5,6 COP's and reset the CEL. Then start again. See if the CEl changes to 5 or stays at 6. It may not be the COP. Good luck.

I have always read that the stock COP's are the best and not to waste the money on aftermarket COP's.

Yep, waste of money.
Hell, I bought 8 "no-name" coils off Ebay for my F150 for under $100. So far so good for the last year or so.

It will probably show back up id bet your intake gasket is leaking or a cracked intake but the intakes normally crack at the crossover so probably intake gaskets seen this on 2v's before.
