I am trying to swamp my hard lines from the 7.5 to my 8.8. The hard and soft lines are in great shape so I am not trying to jack them up at all.

What is the trick to removing the distribution block from the rear. The cap on the post that the block slides onto pops up slightly and rotates but I can't get it off to pull the block.

What's the trick?

im pretty sure you have to put a wrench right under that vent cap and unscrew it from the rear end

You just need to get the hose for an 8.8, and get the bracket off a v8 car for the line to go into.... tap in to your factory line on the passenger side with a union, and run it into the fitting... then you won't have to worry about exhaust hitting it, and its not rigged up

Unscrew the vent w wrench alot of times it may break off in tube but it will come out and both rears use same backers and wheel cylinders so its a direct swap. U must have a 4 eye car w that hose in pass tube. My 88 is on center section
