so my car is losing compression into the water and pushing the water out of the overflow pretty bad. i havent tore into it yet but just wondering the thoughts on it it has no antifreeze in oil and no oil in the antifreeze and not burning anything either. im hoping its a headgasket issue but that is odd for none of the other symptoms! any thoughts?

I had a similar issue on my 04 Cobra. No symptoms what so ever. It kept spewing all of the coolant out of the cap. I didnt check compression but I did a combustion gas test in my coolant tank. I got 5 positives. Sounds like it could be a headgasket. What kind of car.

Yep...head gasket leaking combustion gases into a water passage.

Maybe it means it's time for a little rejuvenation maybe a freshen up some gaskets and a weekend of wrenching, good luck

yea thats what scares me tho it don't have 500 miles on the head gaskets. i just always think the worst tho just way my luck goes hopefully it is just head gaskets.

Have you checked your radiator cap, I have had a bad radiator cap that has done that. Everything is fine when I leave and be almost empty when I get home but no mess on the floors or any of the other symptoms that you haven't noticed as well. Sometimes it's the most simple things we overlook the most.

Use good head bolts, and make sure the mounting surfaces are flat and free of debris and contaminants
