Painless Wiring???

Ok, so I want to get rid of every wire in my new project and start fresh. I really need to pick someones brain about this.

I am going to run headlights, tail lights, turn signals, ignition/starter, gauge cluster lights, power windows and fuel pump. That should be it.

How much can I put on each circuit? Is it easier and cleaner to just run a switch panel? Any other tips or tricks?

I went with an ARC membrane switch panel, comes with a really nice relay board for all your hookups. You can get it in 4, 8 or 12 switch panels. Love mine.

I used a painless 12 circuit knockoff from ebay. Best 119 bucks I ever spent. Nice long heavy gauge wires labeled every foot or so. With mini fuses.

Most of us run ARC panels. The only problem is the switch panel stays lit up all of the time until you hit the battery kill switch.

I havent seen a downside, like was mentioned earlier the lights stay on until you kill the battery power but I have left mine on for 10 days or more and hasnt drained the battery. Do a search on you tube and you can see a demo video. Switches can be programmed to combine functions, rated for like a million cycles, light turns from red to green when switched. Each switch has its own relay, you run power to this thing and then send it to whatever accesory you like.

Yeah I saw that on their site or yb. So I would buy their switch panel which comes with relays and then use my existing harness to power the stuff I want?

gonna bring this back up. you guys sold me on the ARC. I am debating on the 8 or 12. I know for sure I need starter, ignition, fuel pump and electric fan. Nitrous sooner or later. Lights...

can all of my lights go on one circuit?
