Last one I had done was around $1000 for everything with a couple upgrades (It was still in the car). I only had that one rebuilt because it was for a SSP and I wanted to keep the original trans. I think sometimes your better off buying a new one.

795, new gears, sliders, blockers, 30 day warranty, exchange. Been doing them 18 years now. Most of the trans I do have new 2cd, 3rd, input, 1-2 slider, 3/4 slider, all new blockers, steel bearing retainer.

Very smart man. If I hadn't gotten into them in 95 when I did, I would never have started rebuilding them. It's taken years to develop the relationships with Tremec and others that allow me to offer a trans at an affordable price with a warranty. Hard to beat, but I just try to stay competitive. Going to be offering the A5 gear set tranny's soon.

What kind of lb or torque can it handle. Is it still around 350lb or is it stronger than stock form.

Yes, same as the 90 up T5's. The 2.95 first gear trans can handle more hp and torque, but not much more than the 3.35 first gear. The A5 is supposed to take a bunch more than the tremec gear sets can. I'd like to build a few and get them in some high hp cars to see how they hold up. I may run one behind my coyote when I get it together.

I run the A5 gear set in my coupe with a stock output shaft, VERY nice set up!

I'm really curious to see what kind of abuse it can take. I was told that a stock t5 will take some abuse, but built rearend on dr's launching it hard off the line they don't take it to well.
