What would cause the rear-end of my car to start wheel hopping when i get on it... i put new shocks on it, it has after mkt lower control arms, and sway bars... but still bounces it is a 90 Lx factory 5.0 5 speed, but the motor is a HO motor and has some work done to it... would something in my rearend do this? What if the wheels make a noise when you push them from side to side... is there supposed to be some sort of spacer in there? Im running Weld draglites fat/skinnys with BF euros... maybe its the tires doing it?

You should also inspect the control arm bushings. Ive seen alot of bushings get torn up and cause this.

You need to swap the IRS for a SRA and.. oh wait.. nevermind.

Maybe u could swap out the SRA for an IRS...that's what all the fast cars run... J/K... Just check your bushings and take off those quad shocks if someone else hasn't done it yet and that noise I'd prolly your axles moving side to side

Well that would be why it wheel hops, most of the time when you delete quads you have to go to a set of nice control arms to keep it from bouncing.

YOu need a set of upper control arms to complete the quad shock delete. Also, make sure the bushings in your aftermarket lowers are not worn out or missing. The clunk from side to side is the axle moving back and forth against the pin. If your posi is worn it'll get worse. Hope this helps.

Matt ur rear suspension is crap buy good uppers and check all the bushings, the quad shocks don't mean squat if u use good suspension components
