My 2011 gt seems like its slow to build rpm's in neutral as well as slow to go back down. I know its doing what its suposed to and nothings wrong but is there a way to get it to rev up faster? Will buying a hand held tuner solve this? I know the 4 valves are slower because my mach is like this but the fox I had was like right now when you hit the gas and came right back down. I want to buy a tuner but will that help any?

man I didnt realize how slow to build it was until I went past a friends house. I stepped on it while out of gear and I was a block away by the time it built up and I was home by the time it went back down... lol not really that bad but you get what I am saying.

Not only is it the drive by wire most 4.6 engines are slow to rev, nothing like a good ole push rod motor

My boss was complaining about this same thing a little bit ago he put a cold air intake on and it helped slightly

But it is pretty much the same design it seems as all mod motors are slow to rev, he was also talking about his 4v motor being the same way in his post and it is a 4.6

I have the 4.6 3v and it is the same drives me crazy. I have no luck with any infomation on how to rev quicker. I have a tuner and it helps the heistation but not the slow rev and slow back down issue. I also figured might be because mine is auto? good luck i would like to know if you figure something out.
