Events in the second half of October?

Hope all is well with all ya'lls. Im sitting in Kuwait waiting for a flight home. It's definitely been an interesting year in Afghanistan lol.

Wanted to ask you all if anyone knows of any car shows, cruise ins, or racing events that are going on in the latter half of October as that is when I plan on trying to take my post deployment leave.

I am aware of the benefit car show at Northgate Mall for Jessica Green (her brother was one of my closest friends back in the day), and I also know of the two standard racing events going on at Edgewater on the 20th and the 27th. Are there any other cruise ins, car shows, get togethers, etc. that I should be aware of?

Nothing to my knowledge. Post an informal invite to meet somewhere. That's what all will I do now. Those that show will show. Your best bet will be Florence QSL (It's new this month), or the other two QSL's, or possibly Fillmores. I know of nothing else. You may also check a Show-n-Shine Calendar.

Still havent been to Fillmores, but I heard there is a regular cruise in there. Do you or anyone else happen to know what days the cruise ins are and at what time? Also, where exactly is Fillmores located?

Also, does Zerolift still do their weekly cruise ins and if so, what day and what time?

I was a little disappointed to learn that there wont be any more Thursday Night Lightz or UMTR events by the time I get home :-(. Oh well. There's always next time I guess!

Don't know for sure. Fillmores address - google fillmores florence. Cruiseins are Sundays @5pm. Same for the other places mentioned. Fillmores if east off the florence 18 exit of I75 about a 1/2 mile on the left. Soubt there will be much activity there that late in the year but one bnever knows. Getting cold here this weekend. Frost possible Sunday or Monday morning. Fall is in swing.

I did find a car show/cruise-in charity fund raiser Chuck. It is being held in the Northgate area. Check the Cincy speed website for the flyer and details. It's on 10/21 if I recall and the cause is a very good one.

Hey fellas I got home safe and sound a few days ago and am enjoying some down time. Im tracking that charity car show already tho. Her little brother was a good friend of mine in high school.
