I just got home from Edgewater...not allowed to race there anymore without a certified cage :D. I will be at Tristate next week, I think the tires have one last outing on them.

My first run right off the road with only enough cool down to load the tune and lower the air pressure was 9.95 @ 136. I backed that up with a 9.91, 9.97, and two 9.99's. The track went south around 8pm I lost some 60'.

Gates open at 12:30, will they let me run with no hood?? If I drive out there on slicks and they turn me away I will be pissed. And I have engineer a coolant overflow... Aka water bottle

Man that thing was badass! My girlfriend is a newbie to this stuff and every time you would launch she would say why is his car so much faster? Haha I tried to explain that an automatic with slicks makes for a fun car to holeshot.

Was good seeing you today chad, congrats on the 12 second pass! I couldn't get mine to make a clean pass but it was nice seeing all the cars run. And chatting with everyone smytty thanks for letting me use your helmet!

Thanks Kevin and Josh. Was nice to see the car go faster than I was anticipating. Three runs - 13.47,13.04,12.85/2.00 60ft. All traps peeds were 109 MPH and a few tenths. I won't complain on an all stock car (exhaust but who counts that?) first time out with a 6 speed and street tires. Would like to feel a cleaner transition from first to second. May have to look into an MGW.

Anyone hear the outcome of the lady in the red edge body convertible that kissed both walls at the 1/8th mile mark? I never saw them take her out of the car. Hope she was okay. THen another accident happened at the entrance to TS just as I was leaving. Crazy times after 4:30 today at Tristate.

Yea I should have! I was frustrated with my car lol I just wanted my 12 second pass and nothing was going my way. Couldn't hit 2nd for some reason... And my dizzy was a tooth off the whole time

You are there and then some. Just a few more bugs to work out. Lot to be said for taking a mid 14 Fox (stock factory back in the day) and building it 20+ years later to run 12's. I love watching you guys build these cars, keep Ford engines in them and drive them into the 12's, 11's, even 10's on all motor. Totally awesome. Hang in there. You got all the ducks to do it...just realignment of a couple and BAM!!! Hang in there.

I had a good time yesterday, the track and conditions didn't yield any personal bests for me but I had a chance to shake off the rust and cobwebs.
