I realized I never started a thread for my latest car. Some may have seen the car before. Her name is Ashley shes 11 Kona Blue GT she was a 300a (base) with cloth seats and a 6r80 tranny. I picked her up 2 yrs ago from beefcake. Had to wait 2 weeks for her first trip to E2O. Her best was a 12.80@110 stock minus the spare and passenger seat and 800 miles on the odo.
Performance wise I added a JLT CAI, Boss intake,DRs ran 12.4s. I have since added 3800 stall,SW Lts,o/r x,Bassani axlebacks. I have Lund Racing tuning the car. It ran its best pass last weekend 11.81@114 so far. I am adding a 1 piece DS and swapping from 3.15s to 3.73s and see if it helps my ETs. My goals are 11.5s in good air. I promised my wife no cage in this car. I am considering a 100 shot for occasional dip into the 10s:eek: I run 17by4.5 Racestars with Hoosier radials,15by10 on the back with 295/55/15 MT Drs for the track. I run polished bullitt style wheels 20" on the street.
Styling wise. I had accident in the car last year damaging the front. It was the perfect excuse to upgrade.:lol: I added the Roush front fascia and lip spoiler,GT500 rear wing,tinted corners and rear lights,rear blackout panel. I had Plated do some wicked ghost flames on the hood. Very subtle but sweet. Wheels as mentioned. The car is lowered 1.5" with Koni shocks and struts. I swapped the stock cloth for some 401a upgrade seats (charcoal leather seats with grabber blue stripe and stitching).
I will try to put up some pics while floating out here in the Gulf. It has been getting the car to look and perform the way I want. I am about finished with mods. Unless I add that blower and cage,sorry dear :lol:.
