Im debating cutting off my existing weld ons in favor for thru floors. Any real advantages to make it worthwhile? Car is also getting cage during winter so if nothing else would provide stronger mounting than just plates. Car is street strip stick car w full suspension. Not sure of power level if that even makes a dif but jus wanna do the cage mounting once. Wats the opinions?

I would do the team z through the floor connectors. It will be stronger and won't hang down under the car as low and also gives you a nice spot to weld the cage to . It's a little more work but through the floor connectors are the way to go in my opinion.

We just put a set in a fox coupe and wasn't really bad at all, like Rocky said it makes a perfect place to weld the cage to!

Sounds like i prob get to do two sets one on my coupe an on my dads coupe too. Hope my old weld ons come off easy. Ill use a cut off wheel i guess focused on the connector. Thanks guys
