Anyone on here run pro comp heads? I have a chance to get a set for my gt40 heads. I tried to look for reviews but really could not find anything.

Do a search on the Corral, you'll get all sorts of interesting opinions. Most of them negative.....I know nothing about them however.

Crap shoot on quality. Valve guides have been known to fail, valve jobs are sketchy at best, seats have been known to fall out.

With porting and a good valve job, theyll make good power. Replace all the springs and retainers.

Your better off getting a better brand of head, don't spend the money that it would take to try to make them reliable.

i used them on a 347 i built, used anderson fms valve springs and stuff for their cam i had, car had a/c and p/s still and made 364 to the wheels. Ive also heard their hit and miss quality too, but mine seemed fine and made ok power with them for the money.

I'm not a big fan. However we did make 1000+ whp on Smack's turbo car with a set he had worked at BES. This thing has been together for quite some time with no issues.
