me and pitbull just picked up a 1990 hatch roller last week that we are going to make into a cheap race car. Sunday we then picked up the motor i will have pics up soon

We'll post up some pics later but should be a fun little rocket, we don't really have a track number goal in mind but i'm thinking if it'll hook 10's shouldnt be too far off. In a full interior gt on stock suspension it went 11's. The main goal of the car is to have the fastest cheapest car we could put together and go have fun next season. Just a fairly stock 302, turbo and drag shock set up. We should have under 3k in the car.

heck yea they are makes me kind of wonder why i've got a shit ton of money wrapped up in my 347 in my other car when we just paid less for a motor complete intake to oil pan turbo to trans and i've got more in the last rebuild of my T-56 lol

Agreed 100%. High dollar mega detailed builds are obviously cool to follow, but my favorite are low budget, use what you've got, thrown together kind of stuff that just flat out works and is built to have fun with.

Yup that one's it. pretty nice roller....... so that's about what we've got in it so far 1000 for a roller, 1000 for turbo motor complete drop in - the intercooler but that's cheap, we'll most likely 5 lug it since we have most of the stuff already. We're going to drop a tubular K we have as well, relocate the battery, we're going to add a line lock while we're 5 lugging it.

I like low dollar builds also. Years ago (late 80's) I was the only guy around with a low 11 sec car. I had a Dart with a junk yard 360 and a 150 shot. I did this for several years. I blew 2 motors but at $125 each from the junk yard I never cared. It was a lot fo fun going fast with no money.
