I got a 65 econoline pickup and it looks like bag for the buck is to go gasser look rather than slammed like I really wanted. I am looking for a good deal on some period correct front 4ish wide wheels (gonna run body painted steelies rear)
Rocket makes these and I love them but 400 for two wheels is out of the question!! http://www.yogisinc.com/cartimages/prd_13547.jpg

The rockets would look sweet. We ended up putting a set of Summit brand wheels on my brothers 65. I wanted to put Cragar SS and steelies on it. Steelies painted half and half

It is lowered some. We actually had it about 3 inches lower than it is in this picture. With my brother and I in it together it was sitting on the bump stops and was a very harsh ride. Looked sweet though !

I want to slam mine in the worst way but everyone on HAMB say they are miserable to drive. And I am unwilling to spend $ and time on this one to IFS the front then air ride it. This is what I want.....

This is the ride height we were at. It was low. His truck was formally used on a naval ship so it had overload springs and heavy duty suspension. After removing some leafs it started coming down pretty decent. We almost bought another truck to build a chassis for and just set the body down on it. It wouldn't be a bad build at all

I was only about 10 years old back then, but the poor guy's like my brother run black steally's white walls with baby moons. But by mid to late 60's there were alot of nice looking EOM wheels.

Cragar SS/T's look good. Keystone Classics would look good too.
