Well I hurt my clutch at edgewater today. It still works but it slipped pretty badly at the starting line of my last pass. My car is more of a street car, so I don't want something really grabby or stiff. The car makes around 600 to the tires currently. Torque is around 480. Anyone running the McLeod twin disc?

Sorry to hear about the clutch Tommy.

Im running a spec 3 with the light pedal options. I also did the anti-venom mod and use Royal Purple synchomax fluid. I think it feels great. Its never slipped yet. I dont get hardly any chatter. The only time I get chatter is when I dont give it enough throttle on take off. I mean a really low rpm take off on the verge of stalling.

Just in case someone asks, anti-venom mod

I am considering the Spec 3+. It looks like it would leave some room to grow and be a good bang for the buck. Even the cheap dual discs start at $800

Im running the McLeod RXT twin disc in my 04 Cobra. At first I didnt care for it because it is like a light switch ON or OFF. Made me look stupid a few times taking off slow in parking lots and such. lol Once I got used to it I love it. Im making just shy of 700rwhp with many passes on it and plenty of street abuse and holding up great.

Thats a great time. Good job. Make sure you post that in the Dirty Dozen thread. You should make the list.
