So some of you guys know I hurt my motor in my 03 cobra,well I sent motor out for some machine work,I went up to precision yesterday to talk to chad & Jeff and very respectful people up there.I ordered my pistons,wrist pins,bearings etc...The car will no longer be on pump gas,will be getting the hotside reworked see if we can pick it up a bit,car made over 700hp with pretty conservative tune @ 18 degree timing,We will be changing the fuel system up a bit.This should be a fun Build as things change I will update as of right now waiting on parts,I want to thank Tommy (rtvickers) he helps with all the research I need lol,I did not make this Thread for negative feed back so keep that at a minimal,This is only made so that people interested can see this car build Thanks and enjoy.:bigthumb

Badass! I know of a Cobra that runs a 76mm billet turbo setup on e85 and it hit 800 rwhp on just 16psi....had to detune it to 13psi and 19* timing due to clutch slippage. It makes 691/691 there.

If your fuel system will hold it, and the clutch holds, it will be an easy mark to hit. It could do 900+

Im upgrading the clutch while were in there more than likely was looking at the mcloed clutches twin disc,throw little timing and e85 should put down good #'s..I ordered diamand ceramic coated pistons yesterday,heads are being sent out this week to be checked out.

Sucks we never got to line em up in current form. I wanted a piece of that thing. Sounds like we are going opposite directions now and I wont stand a chance. Your build sounds like it will be sick. Im going back to a 3.5 upper and nice safe gas tune in the next week or two.

Thanks man. Comp Orange is the best. I looked for over a year to find another in this color when I got rid of the first one I had. e85 was great all summer but I had the car retuned after I did my longtubes and tublar K couple weeks ago and now its runing out of fuel around 5800. Im done dumping big money in the car this year so just going back to 93 untill I decide on a return style system down the road. Im going to focus a little more on getting the suspension set up right over the winter. Next year my car will be faster at the track with less power than I had this year wait and see.

What intake manifold are you going to run? I highly recommend at least 96-98 cobra intake cams as turbos like the intake duration to be greater than the exhaust duration. Your stock cams will have it peaking very low in the powerband.

Just a little update all parts are ordered and have arrived,Holidays slowing it down a little bit but no worries its winter time,I am waiting for a call back to see how much a built auto is goin to get me for,I will keep you guys updated as things change.At this point im in no hurry on rushing this thing and my mind changes every 5 Min.
