My 349 runs 10.30@130mph in a 5-speed NA
With a 408 It should run 9.30s LOL

I had a carbed N/A 306 with unported Y heads ran 11.60's so a 408 would easily do it with the right combo all day long, faster if you really pick parts right..

Let me shed a little light on the combo and anybody with positive inspiration is more than welcome to chime in. It is a 9.5" deck height 351W, bored .030, decked, -22cc forged dished pistons, weight matched & balanced rotating assy, Lunati retro fit hydraulic roller cam in the .580's area, out of the box 60cc Victor Jr's (heads), Ford Motorsport intake, Scorpion roller rockers, 750 Holley DP, complete MSD ignition.

If anyone is willing to share some of the tricks and traits of there 10-second engine builds please share, you can even PM them to me as well. Just really trying to help a buddy out that has never been able to build an engine like this before. I have some knowledge on engine stuff but always willing to learn more.
Thanks
