here is my car i got last week it is a stock 4.6 5 speed with cold air intake it needs some work but atleast its a start. plans are to do headers xpipe flowmasters 4:10 gears for now. And replace quarter panel (hope quarter panel turns out good have never replaced one before) Then in future do a PI head cam intake swap and a 75mm throttle body 24lb injectors.

Go to get some exhaust from Craigslist today suppose to be bbk headers xpipe and flowmasters on a wrecked gt After a hour drive I get there to see stock manifolds and h pipe and flowmasters damn was I disappointed. Atleast I got the mufflers so it wasn't a total wasted trip I guess.

Yes definitely do 4.10's. Mine has 3.73's and it's beggin for more gear. Switching to the 4.10's soon.

Not sure how much difference it would make vs the 73s on how noticeable it would be.

Got motor out finally and started tearing it apart to check for the noise and everything seems ok so far with timing guides and chain. Will pull heads and pan off tommarow and check the rods and pistons. 4.6s kinda suck to pull out and tight fit so it will be apart til I get pi heads and headers and everything I want to get for it

Heads and pistons are out one plug hole must have been stripped at one time had a long plug maybe a 5.4 plug with a plug adapter or rethreader on it and one rod bearing spun bad wasted crank so time so start saving for parts now

Picked up a stock motor today to put back in my car so I can drive it again and start building the motor that had a bad rod bearing

Finally got around to putting another stock motor back in my car was hoping to try it out this weekend but think I will just wait til I order a xpipe and get my 4.10 gears installed. After I get it going I will swap injectors do my 24lb with the 80mm mass air and 75mm throttlebody

Got my ford motorsport 4.10 gears in along with all new axle and pinion seals today and picked up a flowmaster cat back system for it to with polished tailpipes

I picked up a set of Motorsport 4.10 new in box for 125 I couldn't pass them up what do you want for the 4.10 when you get them out I have had few people looking for some within last 2 weeks

Finally ordered my x-pipe should be here Tuesday so hope to drive if around some next weekend if get time to put it on before then along with flowmaster cat back system father inlaw is having open heart surgery today had 4 blockages so I have the kids everyday so wife can be at hospital with him.

Got xpipe and car back system on car and fired it up sounds pretty good will take it out tommarow and try it out its basically stock with exhaust and cold air intake and a 4.10 gear will install my 24 lb injectors 70mm mass air and 75mm throttle body in next week so

I wouldn't bother with the 24lb injectors. If anything it'll make it run like shit. You don't have enough mods to require them.

Installed my short throw shifter today so much better than a stock shifter

Id imagine youll see a little gain with the TB. Aftermarket plenum too? If not Id at least port it out to match the TB or its pointless.

You could probably get that quarter to look pretty damn good if you used a stud welder and slide hammer on it.. wouldn't have to replace it then.

Will probley find some one to put another one on it if can find someone to do it reasonable and put it in primer i don't want it full of bondo and I don't want to do it plan on having whole car painted after get quarter fixed my brother said he will do the paint for me
