Looking to replace my shocks and struts in the next few weeks and I was wondering if anyone is using the KYB brand or knows if their any good or not.
Looking at this kit:

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Ok, is replacing the quad shocks really needed? I know it's probably s,art to but would it hurt to wait?

I wouldnt bother replacing the quads honestly. If you plan on upgrading to an aftermarket lower control arm eventually you wont even need them. I dont have them on mine and its fine. I took them off my old 94 with stock LCA's for my tires to fit and it didnt have any problems either.

Ok, in that case I think I'm getting the Tokico HP Series shocks and struts if their a good brand.

Cant go wrong with Tokico's. If it was me Id save a little more and get the adjustable Illumina's. Might be able to find a good deal on a set of slightly used ones on Corral.

I wouldn't hassle changing the quadriceps genuinely. If your strategy on improving to an upgraded reduced management arm gradually you will never even need them. I do not need them on my own and its excellent. I took them off my old 94 with inventory LCA's for my wheels to fit and it didn't have any issues either . . . . . . . . . . .

I had kyb on my 95. I didn't care for them. Seemed just like stock. I ended up going with strange 10 ways after I put upper and lower control arms on. I deleted the quads and had no issues at all.

I went with the Tokico's...so far I like them, defiantly an improvement over stock, just need to lower it now and get some wider wheels for the PERFECT stance lol...also just got some new 3.73 gears installed today, haven't been able to get on it yet to see the difference because I was told to run it in heat cycles...thanks for the input on the shocks and struts though! :bigthumb
