Where to Get Car Tuned?

I need a base tune so I can test wiring and make sure everything works before I take it for the real tuning. So who is the best tuner around here that can get me a base tune? I've heard good things about Paul's, any experiences with them? The original engine was tuned by Modular Depot when it was in by brothers car, and it seemed to run ok but had a slight hesitation in it, plus so much has changed the tune will not work for my setup. When I have it tuned it is important to me to be able to watch/film since this has been a project 5 years in the making!

everybodys going to have a different opinion on tuners. Adam at S&M is the only one I have personaly used. I bought a car years ago that he tuned before my purchase. I was always happy with the way it ran so I couldnt justify trying anywhere else when my latest car needed tuned. Im more than happy with the tunes he did on it too. both e85 and gas run flawless with no hicups or hesitations. even if it did he stands behind his work and told me to let him know if theres any issues. I was able to watch and take a video two of the times he tuned on my current car so I doubt thats an issue since its important to you.

Im not sure who's closest to you but I think any of the tuners in area can get you where you need to be. Adam@S&M Motorsports, Craig at CincySpeed, Dayton Performance, Easy Street & Customs, Precision Autosports. Im sure Im missing someone.

Just my experience. Ive had great coversation with Adam at S&M about tuning. Also had great coversation with Craig at CincySpeed and had my car on his dyno at one of their dyno days. Both are very easy to deal with and very welcoming. I havent had any experience with any of the other guys but Ive heard through friends that have that they are great to work with. By the way, the car looks great.

+1 with Adam, hes on this board. he tuned my notch a few years ago when I got it, and in the spring ill be getting ahold of him to retune it! super nice guy when he did it, and he let me stand there and watch the whole time, and talk to him about it.

I will add that when adam tuned my car, it was when he worked at Cincy speed and Craig (owner) is a super nice dude and more than willing to help you out from what ive experienced. Im pretty sure Tracy does his tuning now for Cincy speed, and ive never heard a foul word about him! Those are the few people I have delt with and had good experiences with them both.

Thanks for the responses guys. Maybe i'll give Adam a call. Seems like everyone speaks highly of him. I live in Ross, and it looks like his shop is pretty close to me.

Adam tuned my car also, I asked questions and took a video so I am sure he wont mind. He is a awesome tuner and very professional at what he does.

If you live in Ross I don't know why you would even think about going to somebody else. One of the best tuners around is in your backyard!

Adam took redfire from 473 RWHP on to 507 RWHP with his tuning talent. The previous tune was done by Brenspeed in house (not a mail order). Had some driveablilty and ran way rich. All I wanted was better driveability when I took it to Adam. I got that, and another 34 RWHP to boot. All on a lower rev limit, and 3 degrees less timing. Car drove great. He is the man. Sorry but can't remember the torque numbers but they were up as well.

Worth every penny. You can't go wrong with Adam.

I was always satisfied with the way it ran so I could not rationalize trying anywhere else when my newest car required updated. I m more than satisfied with the music he did on it too. both e85 and gas run perfect with no hicups or hesitations. even if it did he appears behind his perform and informed me to let him know if there is any problems. I was able to look at and take videos clip two of the periods he updated on my present car so I question that's a problem since its essential to you.. . . . . . . . .
