Yep it's running a 521. I don't think much has been done to it since it was on the show. I'm trying to get it cleaned up and safe.

It was actually a wierd day. Started out like a Sat or Sun morning we planned on going to Waynesville so the wife could look at antiques and then go to Jungle Jims and a couple other places in Cincy. As I'm waiting for my wife and daughter to get thier asses in gear so we can leave I just start cruizing ebay for cars. I had missed a couple other notches on ebay because they just went out of my price range. So I see this car, no bids but the dude lists his number. For shits and giggles I toss him out a really low offer and head to Waynesville.

As were about to walk into a shop the dude calls me back and in about 5 min we have a cash deal to have the car delivered to my house from MD. I have to admit I feel like I ripped the guy off but I probably wouldn't have bought it unless it was really cheap. It's definately no show car and was put together on a low budget incase they lost the car, but it is the fastest thing I've ever been in. I call it the smile maker because when you fire it up everyone is ear to ear. Except the neighbors.

The funny thing was when my wife was in the store I was outside dealing and the store clerk snitched me out and told her that she thought I was outside buying a car. Once again, on the couch with the dog.

Well, this year I'm just going to make a few minor changes for safety and to clean the car up. In the summer I don't have alot of spare time so I hope to race it occasionally. I also have two other cars on the burner right now so I have go easy on the cash. My main goal is to get my TR Mach 100% rolling for street/show/occassional racing. Then I also need to get the AB Mach at least back to being a roller.

This coming Fall/Winter I'm gonna rip it apart. I'd like to get Aero brakes, convert it to 5 lug and completely redo the rearend with an M9 and four link or ladders?

Money Money Money, some one needs to buy the AB Mach Roller.

As my grandpapy always told me, son Everything is for Sale. I've slowly been sticking some money into but not much. This fall I plan to start dropping some big money into it. If your interested shoot me an offer, FYI the block is cemented so it's not streetable at this point.

Well, let me reel that back in a bit. I have been running around alot getting ready for the season. I haven't had a serious vehicle for some time. I had to buy all new race suit, helmet etc, just ordered some fuel of Adam, have appts made for chassis cert and to get my license etc. I always consider offers however and money talks. We are in the process of building a new warehouse so every dime counts.

I've been watching this for awhile,

Speaking of Pinks, did anyone go to the Pinks in Norwalk? I thought it would be a bore but it turned out to be about the best drag I ever went to as a spectator.

I was there in a 71 Dodge Demon running 9.80's that day. I could not believe how crowded the place was.

Shoot me a pic or post one up, there were alot of really nice cars, it was packed and the track guys did a great job of keeping everyone moving. I wish they'd do it again.

I think I've watched the SBZ vids about 5 times each, I don't think I'd have the stones to even put my bicycle on the line.:chicken:

Just thumbing through some old threads, and was wondering what the numbers on the SBZ car were, HP, ET etc. I've tried to sell my Kenny Brown LX a couple times with no luck. Kenny Brown is interested in doing a buy back but doesn't have the funds. So I'm thinking about putting a motor in it, maybe a 351 based motor but it has to be inexpensive.

I believe when we dyno'd it in KC it made around 750 without a load on it. That was through a powerglide and a converter, so the numbers were probably much higher in reality. Can't remember torque but it was a monster. ET, I remember on one of the passes they dq'd us for going faster than a 10.50. They said we went a 9.10 or something at 150 or 160, with Matt letting off at the 1000' trying not to break out. If I'm wrong on that et/mph I'm sure Kelly will remember for sure. I was kind of consumed with putting the fire out on the front brakes and helping to repair the broken rear brake line on the car. I know it's supposed to be street racing in mexico or some shit like that now. Engine and trans never skipped a beat, and the paint was fantastic on it. It was one of my life's best moments.

I did, so did Kelly Shotwell. He took the camaro we won. I took my r/s car. I had just gotten it back together with a lightweight clutch and flywheel and had zero time to dial it in. It ran like crap. I eventually got it dialed in at KK that next week, but it would have been nice to have it running 100% as they picked my et range 10.0 at the time. Oh well!
I had a fantastic time there as well. You can see the spoiler of my car as I was launching in one part of the episode, but that's about it.

Thanks for the impressive info. If I consider keeping the Kenny Brown I'll probably be contacting you to see what we can do for a motor. The car runs and drives but has a severe oil leak ( I believe the main seal) and a lot of blow by. I love the car but I have too many other things infront of it, however the car deserves to be driven.
