Been thinking bout it for awhile on a 11/1 n/a motor is there any benefits? Curious on how much it is by drum an who converts carbs over local? Any help or direction appreciated

If you plan on driving it a lot, I wouldn't do it in our area. The benefits are well known, but it kept me from driving the Cobra much due to the inconvenience of driving to Piketon to get 20 gal at a time. That doesn't last long in a toy. I'd just stick with 93 and some juice.

That's also y I'd try get it by drum unless they try mark it up over out the pump. I'm interested because my dads car is gonna be 12/1 also so its a lot cheaper than 110 at the only local pump too. So aside from sending carbs off to prosystems or latter is anyone in southern Ohio good at the conversion an tuning

We do a lot of E85 tuning injected and carb'd. The gains are worth the hassle. E85 in a drum will always be more than at the pump. You now have packaging costs that get added. Also pump E85 is blended with junk gas and can be very inconsistent. There was a write up on yellow bullet about this. Renegade unleaded E85 runs $260 shipped to me for 55 gallons.

Now that's wat I'm looking for half price per gallon than 110oct. Car runs on 93 fine but so much btr on higher octane an pump 93 is crap too. My car grey smokes every time I let it sit in my tank more than a couple weeks. I drain it put in fresh smoke is gone but my truck don't care it Burns it fine

my thing is about you saying it runs better on race gas. how can u judge that by just getting in it and crusing it down the road. if your timimng is set on pump gas then u dump 110 in it without making timing adjustments I cant see it just gaining power from that. and as far as what alex is saying we drive our cars everywhere 3 and 4 hour cruises and yes its a pain in the dick when the fuel is so hard to get. its just easier fro me personally to leave it on 93 and me and my wife can drive the car anywere and then if its gonna be raced just turn the bottle on. just my opinion, if E was rt here in town and easy to get then it would be better for us.

Now Steve we don't need this getn all out of hand again. I'm talking in regards to my fathers car an my own nobody else's. We are talking two different worlds between the self adjustments edition makes an actual tuning to a Carb emulsion circuit an preset timing that never changes itself. If u don't wanna run it an want 93 an bottle that's good. On other hand my motor is n/a an cam is too tight to take advantage of a 200 hit. I want to try something new an see how goes. Wcs I keep my old metering blocks an 5 mine later no dyno its back on 93.

whats getting out of hand?? I just clearly stated my opinion on e85 for my situation. all im saying is for me its easier to put a bottle in and go verses run and get fuel come back drain my tank, change my belt, pulley, tune, then go rip come back and repeat it all so she can drive it to school the next day. lol

True but don't a lot people run a dedicated system on gas for bottle cause its a tuned system an if motor is tuned for e85 wouldn't u just pull timing? On my car its all down to changing metering blocks an air bleeds maybe timing depending on wat it wants. I'm not gonna boost mine an most likely wont spray it. I just want it right an enjoy it. The thing is super lean now dipping 17 afr at cruise. So its out of wack now but this is an option I'd like try. If I drove long distance it be Columbus or cincy Dayton area were its available an I know a tank will get it there for sure
I have thought about putting mine on E-85. 13 to1 N/A motor. Need to look into it some more.
