Put team z K-member in the notch a while back and the steering shaft lacks bolting up to rack by about inch and half..anyone else have similiar issue?will flaming river rack fix this?

Yes the steering rack is lower on a Team-Z rack for bigger oil pan clearance. A flaming river rack will work. A stock steering shaft should have enough adjustment to "slide" out of the column. I just put a stock steering shaft on my Team Z k-member.
