Which tires to run??

Which tires to run at the track on my 2012 mustang vortech 6 speed 3:31 gear. 28x12.5x15 M/t ET Streets or 295/45/17 mickey thompson ET street radial? I'm thinking the 15", but looking for opinions.

Run the 28 x 12.5 x 15, they suck on the express way though.

I know on the street the 17s hook amazing! I ran the 15s last year and they hooked good for me, but yes they do SUCK on the highway.

28's will change your final gear ratio a small bit. THe car came with a 27.3" on 18's. The 19's are 27.6" tall. I would look for a tire cloer to 26.5-27.0 personally in a 15. The centri style SC is more forgiving on the low end when building torque as I understand it. MT seems to be a sure thing with most drivers. I tried NT555 DR's once but was not real impressed.

The 28" tire is what I ran my 11.4 @ 125 with last year shifting at 6500-6600 cause of going lean up higher. I'm going to try the 28" this Friday if ran holds off. I'll update you after Friday on the clutch, but all has been great otherwise
