I just personally don't like the "Ball Socket" Type headers. I've always used the 3-piece Hooker Super Competition 1-3/4" Primary w/ 3" collectors on all my Foxbodies and loved them. What ever brand the Previous owner used on my new to me 1994 Stroked 347 they don't fit right. They rub the steering shaft and I hate it. The Previous owner put like four layers of gaskets on the last cylinder on the drivers side of the engine to try to get it over to help the steering shaft rubbing issue and leaks there I'm sure making the exhaust sound "leaky" and I hate this not to mention Its not good on these aluminum heads I'm running. Has anyone used these and howw much of a hassle are they to install not being a 3-piece design? Also maybe I should just get a knuckle for the steering shaft to clear the Header any thoughts would be greatly appreciated, thanks guys!
