SN95 bellhousing difference?

Friend of mine bought a T5 from an sn95. He wants to put it behind a 302, and he is telling me that the bellhousing says 3.8 on it.

I thought I had heard that 3.8's were the same bell bolt pattern as a 302? Is this correct? Also, are there any differences in depth?

starter is different I no some people have drilled it and made it work but a 94-95 5.0 bell works perfect.
