when ever i get rid of some parts that are laying around the house Im going to start working on the front suspension or my 88 Thunderbird drag car what do the numbers on drag struts mean? whats best for a strip only car??

It relates to open and close values. Most shocks are 50/50, equal power for compression/decompression. A 90/10 opens fast, and settles slow, which is good for drag racing. They allow you to transfer weight faster. 70/30 is a good mix for street/strip, and 50/50 is what all cars come with from the factory.

Exactly cause I have 90/10s w strange 10ways in rear. Definitely on my list for fronts cause being fabled to adjust rate is nice for different track conditions or your car tune

I had 90/10s in my car for a while. Kinda fun for a day or so trying to drive it on the highway... Felt like an old Cadillac... Like I was sailing.... Then it got scary quick, lol. I have a set of used ones you can have and see if you like them if they'll fit. I think they're Lakewood.

I have 90/10s and drag launch springs in mine I think they are perfectly fine. For street driving can't take corners but I didn't buy it for that..

Depending on rest of ur set up an weights etc. No two cars are same mine like urs rides perfectly fine to me. I even run a spool an never unhook my arb on the street. It all depends on ur comfort level an wat ur willing to put up w to drive it on street. Ill drive anything! Lol
