I just posted about my motor losing compression about a week ago and since bought 03 04 cobra internals with cp dished pistons i plan on using my block and was looking to make around 600 to the wheels I'm going to be using the arp bolts with everything but wasn't sure about bearings, oil pump etc and if i could keep the vortech v1 or if I'd have to upgrade. Also I've been seeing alot of people running the tko600 on cobras and wasn't sure about doing that either

How much boost do you plan on running? Are you buying a new tko or looking for a used one?

I'm honestly not sure on boost whateveit takes to get me to 600 it made 455 on 8lbs before it went. And either one really

I dont see why you couldnt if you upped the boost and did the supporting mods. But good luck with your build. Keep us posted and if I can help dont hesitate to ask.

An 8psi, 8.5:1 compression will make 50rwhp less than a 9.8:1 compression cobra engine with the same boost. So, your engine will probably make 280rwhp n/a so for 600 it will take around 18psi or more to reach 600rw.

I rarely see a TKO behind a supercharged mod motor. Check out http://thet45source.com/, Zak builds a very strong t45.

My 98 cobra vert made 600 to the tires on a dynojet through a t56.
Car was a blast and totally streetable. The only thing I would do different is a bigger fuel system and injectors, run e85, and skip the meth system.

Novi 2k at 16 lbs with power pipe
Comp cams for blower
ported heads
9 to 1 comp
Meth injection
Glenn's fuel system with dual pumps
60 lb injectors
