I am getting away from the quads for now and I think I'm going to get a street legal dirt bike. All I did with the quads was trespass but I always had to worry about the truck sitting somewhere without me around it. I want the bike to go riding and if I see I trail off the side of the road I want to go check it out and be able to get out without anyone knowing I was there. What's a good 4 stroke bike? I looked at a drz400 but it was waaaay to tall. Wasn't safe for me to ride it. I'm 5 6 so it needs t be a little short. I'm not going to do any serious stuff and won't be jumping. Just putting around trespassing in the woods. Something with enughg power to get up some hills and out of creeks and stuff.

I was looking at the Kym 250 and it's a good size. You could always just get a soft rear springs to drop it down a bit

I looked at the Drz400 too but I'm the same height and it was a definite no go.

Lol I got on it and my feet were a foot off the ground. If I bounced up and down I could barely tip toe on it. Would have to come down four inches for me to be able to ride it.

You can lower the DRZs, but its better if you try to be less shrimpy.

Pretty much any bike can have the suspension lowered and set for your height/weight. The Honda XR's are good bikes with plenty of power for what you want to do. The Kawi KDX's are not bad either.

I have a 1979 Suzuki DS80 that might fit you.

My brother just switched from a XR400 to a KTM 300 EXC. Says he really likes the linear 2 stroke power output of the KTM engine. Not as much low end as the 400 but can still lug it down better than most 2 strokes. Also much lighter than the 400.

I don't want two stroke. If had it before and was always fouling out plugs. I was told it was a combination of me not mixing it right and the fact that I like to putt around too much. No two strokes.
