Hey guys I am close to getting my car finished and am hoping to start it this weekend and wanted to see what everyones recommendations were for Break-in. I know it seems like everyone has their own ways of doing it so I just wanted to here them lol.

Motor consists of 306 w/ GT40P heads, explorer intake, and TFS Stage 1 cam. Also I had the transmission rebuilt and put in a new Exedy Mach 350 Stage 1 clutch (Not Broken in yet either). So let me know what you would do. Thanks!

Run it through a couple of heat cycles and drive it at different rpm's and load a few times and the rings should be seated then its ready. If it was built right it doesn't need much break in! I'm no engine builder but that's what I was told by chc race engines when they built mine and it been over a year and its running great

I was told to use Rotella oil for break in and drive it how you're going to drive it...... change oil in about 100 miles and do it all over again....... then put your normal oil you're going to run..... but yes some say take it easy some say don't..... personally I drove mine how I was going to drive it it's a 347 and I have no issues........ it's been about 12,000 miles ago I guess
