Ok my situation is that I just put a set of cast roller rockers on my 351 and adjusted them the way I was told to, and when I start the motor the roller rockers pivot off of the spring so only the very edge is still on. This is my first time installing the rockers and I have no idea why it's doing this. Please help! Thanks.

What type of rocker arm and type of rocker arm mount (pedestal, screw in studs, press in,etc) ?
Are they factory heads or aftermarket?

The rocker arms are the 90 dollar ones from speedway motors, they are the pedestal ones I believe, the studs screw into the heads then you put the arm on and then the nut. and they are stock 351 windsor heads.

Also I left the caps that were on the ends of the valves that were used with the stock rockers. Idk if that is relevant or not.

So are u using guide plates to keep it all lined up? Ur stud conversion kit should've had them

Post a pic for clarification cause ped rockers don't have nuts. An lash caps are only used to help bandaid wrong pushrod length or retainer clearance

I do not think it has guide plates. That's most likely my problem.

what year are the heads do you know?
sounds like they had rail rockerarms that locate the rocker on the valve tip .
they make rail type roller rockers.
or convert it to screw in studs and guideplates.
