Anybody been to Point Blank shooting range? Just wondered how hard it is to get in to shoot. Price?

Good place to shoot.
I have never had to wait to shoot, price is decent.

Heard they are building a second location.

Second location is over off of Harrison Ave near Rybolt Rd. Ive been hounding them to get the ventilation checked so I can shoot my muzzleloader in there. Nothing yet,but it will happen.

I actually work there. There is actually almost never a wait to shoot. I will put out there though, they are doing range maintenance the next two weeks. Ten of the twenty lanes each week. So a little F.Y.I, the next two weeks may be the exception to the rule. Hope to see you up there.

My only complaint about that place is when you go to pay and get a lane it seems the staff and the register are so backed up. I waited an hour, and there was a lane open the whole time.

I just visited Point Blank for the first time. All I can say is I'm very impressed. I was in just after noon on a Friday and actually there were few people so no wait to get a lane. Heck of a lot classier than Target World. By getting there before 2PM I got the "matinee price", that is $3 a half hour less. Very nice place to shoot.

By the way, if you're ex-military you get a discount.

How much is it? My old squad leader from Iraq teaches CCW in Loveland. I wonder if that's where he goes. I need to go shooting with him. It's been a while.

Here are the range prices. As I said, since I was there before 2 PM the half hour rate was $9 instead of $12. They also give you a punch card. You visit 4 times and the 5th time is free.

Hand Gun Lanes:$12 per half hour $18 hourly
Rifle Lanes**:$15 per half hour $22 hourly
Second Shooters:$5 for second shooter in same lane. Children (14 or younger) with Legal Guardian shoot for free
Gun Rental:Hand: $10-$20 Long: $15-$20 **Rifle range can accommodate up to and including .308 everyday! Big Boom Night, Wednesdays 7-9pm, every caliber is welcome except 50BMG or armor piercing ammo.
