I have a built 351w with a demon 750 carb. Runs amazing when driving and even idles great , perfect throttle response and a lot of power. Just smokes a lot when idling. It doesn't smoke when driving or anything. Have tuned the carb a few times, adjusted the mixtures screws to about 1.75 turns outs, floats levels are great, ideling around 900 rpm at idle . Any ideas? And it is exhaust fumes ,it's not a steam insinuating water.

Play with the low speed air bleeds.

Run the mixture screws in until they stop and then 1 full turn out. If it's still rich you are either over jetted on the primaries or you need to drill the low speed air bleeds. Also make sure the throttle plates are set evenly.
