Sportsman Block 347 For Sale

FRPP Sportsman B50 block 347, forged steel crankshaft(not cheap junk), I beam rods with ARP Capscrews(not nut and bolt), and Probe pistons. This was a Ford shortblock assembly, high dollar parts used in them. It's in pristine condition, no ridge in the cylinders, still cross hatch pattern, shortblock with oil pump and pickup tube, oilpump driveshaft, assembled as shown. These blocks and assemblies will take 700 rwhp+. The main webs are very thick on all 5. Asking 2495.00 for this. You can inspect before you purchase

Ford. Look up the part number in the last pic. It's 50 oz balance too of all things. The crank looks high dollar, it's shiney even on the side of the counterweights. Forged steel crank, forged I beam rods and probe forged pistons.

Ok, going to put this on Corral for this price shipped to the 48. So that means I'll let it go to a banger(could even deliver it for you if you don't have a truck), for 2100. Get with me before this is gone. It's a great deal for what it is.

I hear ya. For just bore hone an block clearance on skirts $2100? That's about $250 per cylinder an $100 for 20 min of bottom cylinder clearance w a die grinder. I keep my Guy

Bes is extremely good shop but if that's his labor I can't see y some guys have taken him stock blocks to machine for a build. That's like throwing money away wen block isn't worth $50

Well put dave!People have bought engines on here that turned out not what they say they are or whatever...me personally I'd rather buy new or have one done that way you know exactly what you have...

I'm not trying b a dick its just everywhere I called wen done mine was $500 or less to hot tank bore hone an install freeze plugs an cam bearings w cylinders notched. Balancing $180 tops an $100 get crank turned polished. $80 resize rods for 8 of course. Shortblock done. Add in new parts an take away $180 cause new stroker kit should b ready to install. Unless u spent more on machine work then ur kit. Plus one on this its not another stock block grenade stroker

You're not trying to but you admit that you are. Again the point i was making is that this was a good deal. You have what you have in your motor and I have what I have in mine. I'm sure Mike appreciates the clutter in his thread.
