Just had my trans built in my trailblazer ss. Going to do a standalone trans cooler on it. How big of a cooler would you use as a stand alone unit?

check out the TBSS forums PCMforless has some nice ones with fans that fit in front bumper air duct. I just sold mine!

No I have not. Unless it was done before me. Mine has 151k on it.

I read the pcmforless ones are not large enough to use by themselves and they're 20k btu that's why I went with the 29.2 btu that b&m makes. Mounted it right in front of the ac condenser

I bought a 40k cooler for my Lincoln... was like $120 from ebay. Stacked plate style.

I have a oil relocate kit and always ran 7qts of oil in mine they tend to starve for oil. they run good wish they had 5-6 speed trans or gearing. hold button on the shifter and traction control off and keep it down stabile track off then we can play.

Bigger the better.
