i just put a new therm. and gasket on my 00gt and can't seem to stop it from leaking ,this is the second gasket i tried,and i must be doing something WRONG,the gasket does just lay centered on top of the new therm. right?????. any sugestions would be greatly appreciated.

Was it leaking before you replaced the thermostat? I prefer to use a liquid gasket maker myself. Make sure the thermostat direction of flow is correct and follow the torque specs of the thermostat housing bolts as well.

gotta get a replacement and quick
