Phil Robertson Suspended from Duck Dynasty by A&E

Alright, I know everyone doesn't watch Duck Dynasty and this rant isn't about whether it's a good show or not, but when I heard about Phil Robertson being suspended because of his thoughts on Gay Marriage I got a little angry.

First off I heard A&E wanted to cut out the end when they say grace before their meal. (which I think is stupid) If you don't like it don't watch it.

Then when I heard about Phil Robertson being suspended because his beliefs on gay marriage I was like "that's fucking retarded" What do you expect a hardcore christian to say about gay marriage.

This is just another example of how the world is just turning into a bunch of cry babies.

It may be just me being one sided because of the way I was raised but I have the same opinions Phil Robertson does. However that doesn't mean I am going to go around bashing gay people. Anyways just wanted to get it out.... I feel a little better now.

I have a "Gay Is Not Ok" sticker on my truck.....been waiting for someone to flip me off or try an run me off the road. I do not think a penis and a penis should touch or be in the same area at the same time, nor a vagina and vagina rubbing together...even tho that is more pleasing than 2 dongs. Everyone is open to their own opinion and what they want to say. He has every right to state his thoughts, feelings and opinions. As his employer (in this sense) A&E has every right to react the way they did. When he speaks, it's associated with the network. When what he says pisses off a large group of people, they have to distance themselves from it. Whether or not the network agrees with what he said, the surely don't want to hunker down and make a stand on either side of that debate.
If I went around, promoting the company I work for, and said a bunch of things that pissed off a large demographic, I'd be in trouble too.

I have only seen a couple episodes and could give two shits about duck calls or queers playing with another guys duck call, but A&E should have stuck with Phil.

Remember Chic-Fil-A and the lines they had when all that shit went down? A&E would have been the new poster child network for Christians if they would have stuck behind the family instead of jumping ship.

I've only watched it once and it appeared scripted and kinda stupid. I haven't tracked any of this shit going down because I hate people that have more money than me which is most everyone. I question why doesn't the whole family just say f it and boycott the show. A&E has built a true dynasty off this show. You cant walk into a store with out seeing some of their shit for sale.

As far as gays and lesbians well I don't quite get it. I personally don't believe it is a genetic trait or a disposition you are born with because it would have to eventually be eliminated because two gay people cant reproduce?

Any how I completely support the gay lifestyle, my rationale is the more peter puffers out there running around the more women that are single and freed up on the market.

Now as far as cat on cat, that should be limited to 35 and under very attractive and athletic women.

Well from what I have seen they acted like he is bashing gays, but when I saw the quote of what he said it just pisses me off because he wasn't bashing gays he was pretty much referring to what the bible says and I agreed 100% with it. Now I know not everyone does I am not that narrow minded but people can't be so stupid to not know that is what he believes whether he said that or not, it's in the bible and Phil seems to know it and stand by it pretty well.

Anyways I am probably just nagging but it just frustrates me to see stuff like this and other issues like gun control which is a completely different topic. I am proud to live in a country were myself and others are free to have their own opinions, but some people get offended when they find out you don't agree with them and that is what makes me mad. I don't support homosexuality but that doesn't mean I am going to treat someone a certain way because they are gay or support it, but don't try to change my opinion of it and don't judge me on what I believe in.
