i cant believe people think its inhumane for a convicted piece of shit to have suffered a little while being executed.
he needs to suffer ,that prego girl and her baby surely suffered when he stabbed her to death and raped her!!!
the dumbass family members needs to see the pics of what good ole dad did!
they should be ashamed of themselves for going on tv and trying to sue someone.
oh he was gasping for breath,i bet the girl he killed was gasping for breath too!
wtf is wrong with people?
im all for capital punishment,if your a convicted murderer on death row you should be immediately be put to death. quit wasting money on them.
i personally think they should be killed the same way the committed they're crime, might help deter future losers .

You are assuming everyone on death row is guilty.
But with overwhelming evidence, give 3-5 years for appeals and done.

If he was innocent why did he look over and say he was sorry?

if they are on death row they have been found guilty by a group of peers.
good enoigh for me.
for the bleeding hearts 1 year to appeal is acceptable i guess?
i just dont have a softspot for thieves or criminals in general.
hell if it was up to me id cut him like he did that pregnant girl and shove a ballbat in his ass,let him see how it felt . that would be justice!!!!
his son needs punched in the face for even crying like a bitch that he suffered.
just my take on things.

I say eye for eye. The punishment should fit the crime. Well that or a .22 at point blank range. That would be way more cost effective.

I used to be an absolute advocate of the death penalty. Now, I would be in favor only if it were absolutely 100% sure the person was guilty. Although I think O.J. was guilty, I couldn't vote for the death penalty. It really bothers me that since 1973 over 140 people on death row have been exonerated and freed from death row. Once a person is dead, the state can't go back and tell the family, "Gee, we screwed up". If a person is convicted of a capital crime, but there isn't 100% certainty of their guilt, I would vote for life with no possibility of parole. I am no bleeding heart lib, just a person with a conscience.

Firing squad, and use the corpse to study ballistics.
Here again, I don't believe we should be paying for people who are in for life without parole, and we should also use the inmates for something creative to lessen their financial burden on the state.

Hang um.... public display ... put it on TV .... might deter the next one .... I said might.
You see on tv and in the newspaper that so and so was caught killing someone only has 100 arrests for other shit....
What I am saying most crime is commited be career criminals, when caught, family says Johnny is a nice kid, just trying to get by.... Bull Shit...
I will give most people a second chance then the hell with them.. Put them in jail and make them work... dig hole and then fill them up...

There was a really good article years ago in the one of the Columbus papers about the last public hanging in Ohio. Back in the day when they did public hangings everyone was bought to the old pen downtown Columbus for holding then brought out to one of the state buildings on Broad I believe for the hanging.
If I remember right there may have been multiple executions on that last day but the hanging isn't really the story. The gathering or "party" was. People came from many states away just to watch and in the end it became quite the drunken party and there were several people in the crowd that were killed ( I cant remember if it was from fights or accidents) in the week or so leading up to it.
I tried looking up the exact story and couldn't find it but it is worth the read.

By the time it comes to actually putting someone to death, it has been 25 years or more. Long enough for any appeal. The issue is not about putting an innocent person to death. The issue is about how we put this one to death and that he gasped for air while he was dying. I really couldn't care less about this POS or any other one up for execution. They did something really bad to deserve this. Simply closing his eyes, going to sleep peacefully, and stopping his heart is too nice. There should be some pain and agony involved. Kind of a price paid for actions and peace for the victim's family.

Ok I have to ring in on this. I am a nurse. I see ppl die on a routine basis. Its just part of my job. I see ppl die everyday. And what this guy did as a part of his death....it is NOT unusual. Sorry. Hate to clue u in....if u r a bleeding heart lib...or if u r a dyed in the wool conservative.
Death has no party. The way this man died is no different than any other death I have seen given the method of death. In fact....I have seen many a better person be tortured to death over a lot greater time frame simply because his family was at odds over "what he wanted".
So..I do not buy the BS instigated by the family so offended at how he died without a 2nd thought to the pregnant woman he slaughtered. WTF???? I could go on...but really...is it neccessary?
If so..by all means...PM me. I would be more than happy to bring u in to my world. Show u what happens to a real live person

Lets not forget he confessed to the crime.
I think the family should have had the option of stoning the SOB to death. They have suffered for 24+ years, I could care less if suffered 15 min or not.

I saw where they are suing for $75K. I think they should have to pay for even thinking about collecting money from a murderer's death. Maybe that $75k should go to the family of the woman killed...
