OFCC Members,

This is the time for activism to expand our firearms rights in Ohio!

As you may know, HB 203 (http://www.legislature.state.oh.us/bills.cfm?ID=130_HB_203) has passed the Ohio House and is now awaiting action in the Ohio Senate. Although the Senate is back in session it has not yet been assigned to a committee. Please contact the Chair of the Senate Reference Committee, Sen. Kris Jordan, and ask that HB 203 be referred to a committee for action:

Additionally, please contact Senate President Sen. Keith Faber and ask that the Ohio Senate promptly act on HB 203:

Lastly, please find your State Senator and ask them to push for action on HB 203:

HB 203 is a very complex bill with a lot of moving parts. The most discussed in the media is the removal of the legal duty to retreat but there are several other improvements to gun rights. HB 203 also reduces the required number of training hours, Ohio's CHL process would become NICS compliant, elimination of inducing panic as a charge for exercising our constitutional and more are all in there. This is a big push in the right direction! Yes, there are some highly technical snags but we at OFCC have brought these to the attention of the bill's sponsor and have been assured that these will be fixed before final passage.

OFCC is the premier statewide gun rights group fighting for your rights. If you are a like-minded supporter of gun rights we respectfully request that you also consider going to our website and making whatever donation you can to our cause:
