My truck is an 11 F450 Lariat, its pretty well loaded with all the controls in the steering wheel. I had been driving the truck for about an hour (its about 0 or maybe a few degress below) I go into a store for about 20 minutes and come out, start the truck. When I go to pull out of my space the steering sticks a little but not much. I then notice a sound in the steering column like a ribbon cable or something has come loose in the steeing column . It sounds like a candy wrapper or something between the steering wheel and the column rubbing. Then I notice the airbag light is on.

I've searched the web but am coming up blank. Does anyone have a clue what it may be? I cant pull it in the warehouse or garage for a day or so and don't wanna drive it incase the airbag pops.

Thanks man, I don't need any big shit right now. I just took a rock to the windshield of one of my Kenworths yesterday.

Yup,Clockspring sounds about right. They are not that bad to do. I cant remember if they ran the horn through the clock spring or not. Does the horn work?

With the airbag light on bags are unable to blow. Disconnect the battery wait 15 minutes, pull the horn out of the wheel. You'll need a bolt grip puller to yank t he wheel and the clock spring is right under it.
