To bring everyone up to speed on the 3rd pass of opening day at Edgewater in March, my trusty T5 decided to take a break literally! So in goes a faceplated gforce courtesy of Chad393na (thanks buddy!) I was trying to hold off putting in the faceplated T5 until I got in the low 12's with the synchronized transmission but hey I couldn't resist. The last pass I bogged to a 12.48 (my previous best) Here are the incrementals:

60'........1.597
330.......4.982
1/8.......7.832
MPH......85.98
1000....10.303
1/4......12.413
MPH.....106.58

What's cool is that the air last night was decent but not great and I've had several 1.57 60' times in the past at Edgewater and Kilkare, I believe this fall if I can hook I got a shot at 12.2xx's!

Peace :cool2:

Congrats James!!! You've still got a lot more left on the table with that. Keep at it!

Great pass James. Nice meeting you and meeting your dad.

They look more like twin brothers than father/son, lol. He's a great guy and a veteran with a cool story as well.

Thanks Chad good meeting you as well, Dad had a blast meeting people and hanging out as well, he hadn't been to the track with me in several years.

How old are your slicks James?
Jeff, they were manufactured in July 2011, I bought them new off Jegs showroom floor in November 2012. They have less than 50 passes I think.

Ok...not to old then. Wonder if your 60' would pickup by switching to a set of Hoosier 26x8.5 that are stiffwalls. All the 8.5 guys run the Hoosiers due to them lasting longer and for the most part working better than the m/t's.

Yeah guys I tried them out 4 years ago for several passes couresty of Rick (331twistedwedge) the Hoosiers were actually less than .01 a hundredth slower in the 60' than the MT's but I'd be willing to give the Hoosier's another shot.

Congrats buddy!! I knew it wouldn't take long to break that barrier! I'm sure it's only going to get quicker as you get used to that transmission.
