86gt40 and I left work at 7am. Both ponies rearing to let go of the hard nights work. To run free. I see the open Lane next to 86gt40 but I dare not take on the lead Mustang. Not yet in my young wild stallion life. I am not ready for that. But maybe one day I will be. But I try not to embarrass myself. At least stay in the hunt. I shift my little automatic into first thinking maybe I can stay close. Maybe. The light turns green. 86gt40 launches out but no squel of rubber. Just a beastly growl. It says it's OK my young one. You still have time to grow up. I stomp down and my revs shoot up to 4k. And I hear a little chirp. And it says I'm trying. I'm not giving up. I shift into 2nd and so does 86gt40. Tires spin and I hear the laughter. As the ass end slides left and right and back straight. And he is sitting at the next light b4 I shift up to drive. I see the tail lights wink at me. They say maybe one day young stallion. Maybe one day. I tip my hat and say yes maybe one day.
Lol. Good way to end a midnight shift.
