You need a harness from an 89, the 90-93 has different plugs that go to the fuel pump, iirc.

Brian, If I remember correctly, we figured that out the hard way one afternoon. It won't work, need an 89 as he said. Every year they changed wires, especially in 90 when they put an air bag in the system. Then in 91 they went from the two plug connection between the computer harness and the dash harness to a single connector. Then in 92 they moved the fuel pump relay from under the seat to out under the hood next to the a/c wot cutout relay.

You are correct Mike, the 89' is the way to go. I had a pigtail conversion and never trusted it, and it gave me problems. Mike and I put in a 90 harness (circa 1996) and the fuel pump wouldn't come on. I found a 89 harness and put it in and it worked great. In my opinion, the 89 harness swap is the best route.

Car fired up an ran like a new one. Not one issue. Just removed the complete pigtail with pins for ECU an redone it.
