So right now I have a 2000 Mustang GT coupe with 171,000 miles going up as it's my daily and when I go back to school next month I'll be driving 60 miles a day. It needs a clutch for sure right now and is starting to give me small problems here and there. My question is would it be crazy to sell this one and buy another new edge with a lot less miles or I've also thought about getting an 05-09 gt. Who all has an 05-09 and what are they like? I know they have the 4.6 3v but how are they power wise versus something like mine with a cold air, 75mm throttle body, tune, off-road x with super 44s and then a 3.73 rear gear? Also what do you guys think about verts? Thanks in advanced

The S197 is an all around better car. It has a far better suspension set up and more power stock. I'd go with that over anything 79-04 for something you plan to put miles on.
