I finally got the front suspension back together (temporarily) in my '88 Mustang... and I'm blown away at how stiff the front end is. the car appears to sit nice, but has absolutely NO give. I'm 250lbs, and I was jumping up and down on it and it was BARELY moving. I can lift the car up w/ the jack and the wheels dont move down. It's like the suspension is at full drop. I have a feeling this thing is going to ride like hammered dog shit.
Anyone have any opinions/experience with them?
I really wanted a stock style suspension, but this seems a little odd. Coilovers will come, but down the road.

nope..something is wrong..tighten the a-arm bolts to much? My mustang rode like a caddy with eibach drag springs. Whole point of the front drag springs is to give more front end suspension travel to transfer weight to the rear on launch.

Mine rode nice as well. Sounds like something is wrong though cause I could bounce mine with ease!

Control arms are tight, but I mean I can move em easy. I mean, they arent flopping loose, but they do move. But man, I can stand on the nose of this thing and it doesnt budge.
I am running an older AJE k member with the control arms w/ coil spring buckets. Once I have some weight on the car I'm going to swap around the strut spacers in the caster/camber plates because I feel I installed them wrong. I know I did install one of the CC plates incorrectly like a dummy.
Here's how it sits though. It looks like it has the right height but its stiff as a board.

I've had these for awhile on my 94. I didn't have a swaybar on mine with stock struts. It rode real good......didn't seem to me that it jarred your teeth or anything.....seemed just normal.
You can tell a nice difference when the power comes on.......the front lifts up nice and stays up.

Here is about the only pic I have of the side for a ride height comparison......drag springs in front and stock springs in back

My springs have 1 coil cut out of them. So I expect it to sit just about the same since foxes are a touch lighter.
Nice hood in the back btw!

Duh, get an engine, trans, fenders, hood, etc, then they will move. Stock springs won't give the way your car is currently sitting empty and sheetmetaless.

That pic was from 2003. I sold the hood 3 months ago and it still looked the same.....still in primer. HO fibertrends.
