I have a 302 block that I put ARP head studs in, I used pipe dope in the bottom studs, but when warming car up I have the smallest amount of coolant starting to seep? Question is that is there anything I can put in my cooling system to stop the leak, or let the engine go through heat cycles and it might seal itself up?? I was thinking that I had used GM cooling tabs that you put in your radiator to help with this problem?

I always used Teflon thread sealer on all the studs. Never had any problems.

Most of the sealers that you ad to the radiator are pretty nasty and clog shit up. Bars Leak would probably be the best choice though.

I just don't want to have to tear the heads off and redo, used a crap ton of pipe dope. The coolant leak is so small, just smaller than a dime when on the floor, thats why I thought some stop leak, not a full bottle would help?

Try Bars leak and see how that does. It shouldn't take much.

I highly recommend the GM coolant pellets over the bars leak. We use them all the time at the shop. They work the best and will not clog the heater core or radiator if you follow the instructions.

Go to orieleys and get liquid glass... You have to run straight water add the liquid glass let it run at temperature for a few minutes drain the water add coolant and rock.It works great I've used it several times you can literally watch the leak stop.
