I have a question about intakes and what to use on my combo, the combo is as planned: a 347 dart big bore, Victor SR heads that flow 370 at .850, going to have custom ground hyd roller cam, turbo is prob going to be a 88mm. Question is would you guys run a system maxx, an Eld RPM II, or a Vic EFI? OR if I had to sell all three intakes and by a spyder with an elbow? Car is going to be street mainly with may 5-10% track, Car has a C4 with a brake and is in a 95 cobra

Super Victor EFI pn 29285 with elbow would be my choice especially with that big of head.

The victor efi flows the best out of the conventional efi intakes but still wont keep up with the heads, i dont even know if it would keep up if it was ported, i would say efi spyder if u are trying to get its full potential

Why hydraulic roller?

That's a lot of head, I'd think a super vic would be the closest match but your stuffing it in anyway, so I don't know how much it's going to matter, to a point.

your gonna need a ported supervic to do it right.
any other intake will prob be the choke point.

How much power are you wanting to make?

HAHA the most important question, well I am looking to make what it makes and scale it back until I get used to the power and make the suspension work, I just want to have the power there when Im ready for it. I could care less about a number, just want a working combo.

Super victor EFI, and make sure you have it ported to match the heads, then verify the ports align when bolted onto the heads with the gaskets. Use a 1262R gasket.

I bet those heads are already bigger than a 1262R gasket...hell my tfs HP 225's are. Make sure you set up the cam and valve springs to match each other. I'm sure those heads probably have springs for a SR if they go to .850" lift.

He's probably going to have springs to match the custom hydro roller put on the heads. 1262R matches my Vic Jr stage 3 heads from TEA. It's a 1.40 X 2.25 and I usually trim it out a bit to fit if necessary. What gasket are you using Jeff? I'd like to know if there is something larger out there out of the box that has the quality of a felpro and the thickness of an R. I need the thickness for mine.

I use a 1262r on mine..but have to trim them at the top and bottom of each port to match the intake ports.

Ok, so I wasn't guiding him in the wrong direction then. Cool. We all have to do that if the heads are hogged out. Some porters raise the roof of the port a bunch and the R has to be raised with an Xacto blade. I have to widen and raise mine a tad, but not that much at all.

My highports are a tad larger than the 1262R's also.

It would be nice if Felpro would make a taller and a bit wider gasket, but I don't think that's gonna happen anytime soon.

I just was going ot run a hydrollic roller, due to the fact of not having to worry about vacuum problems, but if that's not the case then I would be open to a solid roller
