Ok Im kicking around the idea of selling off the 408 and 427 and complete turbo setup to got to a 302, 331, 347, lsx or even coyote. Really considering throwing the maximum motorsports catalog at it and making it an awesome handling street car/track day car. I would be open to trading one of my engines toward another. So if anyone has any input or may be interested in one of my engines let me know. Or if you think I'm crazy you can can share that too, lol. For those that dont know the 408 had an intake gasket begin to leak on the dyno last year so I went ahead and pulled it and gave it a full rebuild/freshening done by Steve Barker. It put down 750hp/827 tq to the tires but will make more now due to a bump to 10-1 compression. Engine is still on the stand and has not been installed yet. So if someone is looking for a fresh proven setup here is your chance or if you want to make huge power the fresh dart 427 is available. Just time to try something new and different I have always wanted to do

Trade the other engine for a whole other car that's Auto X ready. I can't see going backwards and starting over on a 800 horse car. Or sell it all and buy a pro touring car with an LSx and have a blast all around.

Coyote Boss 302 block Kenny. All forged internals unlike the stock GT Coyote. Fantastic drive ability and high revving. Couple it up with a nice 6r80 or T56 Magnum XL drivetrain and a 31 spline 8.8 or even go all out with a Ford 9" and you have a beast that drives like a kitten. Slap your choice of FI on it and let the fun begin.

Good luck! Sounds like you are going to have a blast.

Is the intention to keep the fox or to have a good handling car? Full griggs or MM fox's wont hang with s197's in AI. Maybe a 2011-14 is a better choice?

Actually the plan is to buy a 2015 and keep the fox. So may just keep the big power motor in it and use the new car as a track/street car

Coyote with T56 and built IRS. Would definitely make for a fun street occasional track day car.

That would be cool but wouldnt do any one thing that great. Another negative is its really expensive. Parts alone would buy you an 8 sec car...

Sounds like a good plan.
