Who will honor Ohio.
GA and CO will honor Ohio on that date as their law states they will honor anyone who honors them. Texas and Wisconsin will most likely honor Ohio in the future. Texas as they will honor anyone who honors them and Wisconsin because Ohio has went to the NICS Check. :)

Sweet! I'm going to Florida this summer and really wasn't looking forward to stopping and packing my CC just to go through one state.

Thanks again for updates on our ever evolving laws, I hadn't heard any of this and hadn't checked reciprocity on Ohio AG site in a long time.

Question: I often carry a glock that has a clip attached to it. It fits me really well because I'm a big boy. Recently I was told that a cc has to be in a holster at all times. I don't remember any of this when I took my class in the very beginning.

As far as I know they don't HAVE to be in a holster it's just an added security measure. Unless this is something recent.

Hi
I don't believe it's illegal, but something covering the trigger is the best...

This will look good after the 23rd.
Wish Texas was there, going fishing there (Toledo Bend) in a couple weeks,
my Utah will cover me but would rather just be on Ohio.

Only 8 hours training needed now, but that 30 round magazine rule, I can see that being an issue. Need to read though it correctly again.

What about packing a gun on a bicycle to Spring Valley?

My Idaho resident CC has been working great so far. Too bad I won't be able to renew it up there..Alabama has a good reciprocate map as well since I'm stationed here.

I believe the magazine capacity is gone..... on the 23rd. You can open carry on your bike.. ?? You might have trouble buying for a while... til the stores catchup on the law.

Hi,
5 new states ...... Didn't see Texas coming so fast, thought it would take some time.

"COLUMBUS, Ohio)— Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine today announced that Ohioans with concealed carry permits will be able to use those permits in five additional states. Pursuant to changes adopted in House Bill 234 of the 130th General Assembly, Ohio now has concealed carry permit reciprocity with Colorado, Georgia, New Hampshire, Texas, and Wisconsin"

I am confused... There is talk that Texas and Wisconsin
"will most likely only honor Ohio licenses issued on or after March 23, 2015, as that is the date they start using the NICS check. They did this with other states when they went to the NICS check and started honoring them."

So well have to wait and see what shakes out about this... not getting rid of my Utah just yet :)
