Gearheds kickoff cruise 2015 and charity benefit for Dawn Sears 4/26

First cruise of the year! Get them finished up and cleaned up and lets start this year out right!
4/26/2015 starting at 1pm ending around 4pm

Wife, Mother of 7 and grandmother of 4

On Jan 30, 2015 Dawn was on her way to see her 2nd client of the day, when she was hit head on by a truck. She was in her ford focus, she was hit so hard that her engine ended up inside the car and pinned her inside.. The driver that hit her has no insurance to help cover bills. She has broken bones in her face, rods and pins in her legs with fractures , broken bones and shattered bones, she has memory loss from time to time due to brain damage. She also has fractures in her arms and back and is in a wheel chair. I would like to dedicate our first charity cruise of the year to try and help Dawn and her family. Dawn and her family will be meeting us at the end of the cruise to have a meal. She is unable to do the cruise with us because she cant handle being in the car very long. Any donation amount would be greatly appreciated to help Dawn and her family. Thanks

Meeting at Hooters parking lot on Route 4 in Fairfield.
Our destination will be cruising to White water park. Afterwards we will be going to Quaker Steak and Lube on Colerain Ave. to have a hang out and eating optional. Dawn and her family will be meeting us at Quaker Steak and Lube. Please contact me or see one of our pages for more information to follow. P.S. I know this is rainout date for SBZ spring cruise but crossing our fingers it doesnt rain :)

Route details,

River road does have some bumps, and plenty of curves so drive at your comfort level.
Bikers do ride on river road as well so beware.
Should be plenty of curves and scenery for a fun trip.

Park entrance fee is 3 dollars per car, or 10 for annual pass, if you have a hamilton county parks pass it will be no charge


Hooters route 4
12185 Springfield Pike, Springdale, OH 45246-1606



1. Start out going south on Springfield Pike / OH-4.

2. Merge onto I-275 W toward I-74 / Indianapolis.

3. Merge onto US-27 N via EXIT 33 toward OH-126 E / OH-126 W.

4. Take the Kemper Rd ramp.

5. Turn left onto W Kemper Rd.

6. Turn right onto Colerain Ave / OH-126.

7. Stay straight to go onto E Miami River Rd.

8. Turn right to stay on E Miami River Rd.
If you are on Scull Rd and reach Dry Ridge Rd you've gone about 0.8 miles too far

9. Turn right onto Blue Rock Rd.

10. Take the 1st left onto River Rd.

11. River Rd becomes New Haven Rd.

12. Turn left onto State Route 128 / OH-128.

13. Turn right onto Mount Hope Rd.

14. Take the 1st right to stay on Mount Hope Rd.

15. 9001 MT HOPE RD. (APROX. ADDRESS)

16. Harbor ridge Dr is on left along with park. We will attempt to park in main lot up front there are plenty of spaces
There is some overflow spots throughout park if needed.
